Location
Villa Antonousa is located at the small village of Kera, and is the perfect escape for anyone who likes to relax in nature but still be close to any modern comforts.
Kera
Located on the west side of Crete, this little, traditional, semi-mountainous village is placed in total harmony with the surrounding area.
Having no more than 50 residents, it is one of the most quiet, most relaxing places which is at the same time near the main settlement of Chania (35 minutes) and Kissamos (15 minutes).
With the debris of an old watermill, a small cave filled with stalagmites, and the hiking path E4, this small hamlet is the perfect place for exploring.
Rokka
This small village is located just 500m from Kera.
Every year on August, on the archaeological site of Rokka, an event takes places letting you enjoythe fool moon of August with the company of music.
On the same characteristic hill as the village, lies above it, the debris of an old castle from whichthe village got its name.
Kissamos
Kissamos is placed on the north-west part of Crete and is 37Km from the town of Chania. Kissamos is the access point to both Balos Bay (by boat or car) and the Falassarna beach. Despite that, Kissamos is filled with super markets, restaurants, bars, cafes and beaches itself. It can be reached very easily by car and is the perfect place for groceries or a relaxing retreat for a drink.
Balos
Balos Bay is one of the places you have to visit at least once. Balos is famous for its turquoise waters and its beautiful natural exotic scenery. You can get there either by car, or one of the daily cruises starting from the harbor of Kissamos.
Falasarna
Along with Balos Bay, Falassarna beach is one of the most favorite attractions in Crete. You can get there by car and after your swim you can go to any of the countless restaurants placed on the surrounding area. Both of those destinations make a very enjoyable daily escape.
